Plant Growth Chambers
Our LABTOP ® plant growth chambers are designed to research into the effects associated with various environmental phenomenons like humidity, micro-organisms, plants & tissues, etc. Besides numerous industrial and research applications, our plant growth chambers have found their application in some research and development laboratories the world over. Nowadays this laboratory equipment is used in a multitude of operations like in tissue culture, fermentation analysis, growth observation studies, and various other general and specialized tasks in different chemical and clinical laboratories.
Cabinet Construction and Refrigeration System
The cabinet of our LABTOP ® plant growth chamber is aptly insulated with a high density polyurethane foam which is absolutely free from chlorofluorocarbon or CFC. The interior of this chamber is fabricated from 304 SS grade stainless steel which is 0.8mm in thickness and have a mirror finish. The exterior part of our plant growth chamber's body is manufactured from mild steel, which is 1.0mm thick and is powder coated. The door of this chamber is well equipped with a magnetic door gasket having a door lock. Moreover, stainless steel trays are provided inside the chamber for storage purpose. The cooling inside the chamber is intensified by an imperviously sealed compressor which is checked for quality. Skylab also manufactures total stainless steel GMP models.
Special Features of Plant Growth Chambers
- Unique airflow system takes care of uniform circulation of temperature and humidity.
- Formed-in-place PUF insulation makes sure that temperature is stable all round the chamber and it also acts as an energy saving element.
- Accurate temperature and humidity control through the use of CE approved PID controller (auto tunning types) which based on micro-controller.
- R-134a environment-friendly refrigeration system having a CFC free compressor and time delay facility.
- Digitally displays the set and process values.
- Fitted with casters, which enable easy movement.

Illumination
The LABTOP plant growth chamber manufactured by us is provided with an illumination system which is operated by the door and is composed of standard quality fluorescent lights. Apart from this, there are two panels of well spread fluorescent light attached at either sides of the chamber, which provide the user with the advantage of conducting the photo periodic tests and experiments.
