BOD Incubator

Our BOD Incubators are particularly designed for the purpose of conducting various types of tests like life cycle test, shelf life studies, refrigerated storage, and general incubation. The temperature of this incubator can be adjusted within the range of 5°C to 6°C. It is also equipped with micro-controller based temperature indicator cum controller. The chambers of this BOD incubator are often used for seed testing, biological studies, and in various day to day laboratory applications.

Cabinet Construction and Refrigeration System
LABTOP cooling incubators are equipped with an insulated cabinet having a high density poly urethane foam which is free from chlorofluorocarbon (CFC). The interior of this incubator is made of mirror finish stainless steel and the exterior is fabricated out of powder coated mild steel. The interior steel is SS-304 type stainless steel which is 0.8mm thick while the exterior steel is approximately 1.0mm thick. Stainless steel trays inside the BOD incubator serve as storing space. The door of this lab equipment is fitted with a sophisticated key locking mechanism. The required cool temperature inside the incubator is maintained by a hermetically sealed high quality compressor. Our BOD incubators are also provided with air-circulation cum exhaust fan at the back part of their body. This fan facilitates the uniform cooling throughout the incubator.

• Foamed - in place PUF insulation gives enhanced temperature stability and helps in reducing the energy consumption.
• An audiovisual alarm keep an eye on the temperature. It gives an audiovisual signal in case of temperature deviation from the preset value.
• PID controller (an optional device) which is based on CE approved micro-controller, provides appropriate temperature control.
• An environment-friendly refrigeration system equipped with a CFC free compressor.

Optional Accessories
Standby Refrigeration system: A reserve or standby refrigeration system which will be of great use in case of regular system failure. This standby system includes compressor, condenser, evaporator, and other accessories.

Safety controller : This safety controller acts in coordination with the audiovisual alarm and cuts the power in case of temperature overshoot and undershoot.

Data scanner : This data scanner is equipped with four scanning points for temperature and humidity each. It is composed of sensors, printer interface, and also have data storage facility.

Software : A web-based communication software meant for managing data, in compliance with CFR 21 Part 11. Complete with RS 485 advantage.

Printer Interface : Printer interface provides the convenience of printing the records according to the set values, process values, date and time, and that too with variable time interval. It also provides the facility of storing data to be printed both online and offline. The best printout can be taken from the 80 columns dot matrix printer.

PC Inter face and data management : This PC interface having two-way communication facilitates the process of monitoring and data logging to control the internal chambers of the BOD incubator. It also provides a web-based software with tabular as well as graphical format reports.

PLC system : This PLC system with a 3.8" clear LCD touch screen display, automatically switches between the standby system and numerous other event-management tasks as and when the need arises.

DOCUMENTATION
For GMP complaint models LABTOP offers IQ, OQ and PQ validation with documentation, reports, calibration and test certificates.

CALIBRATION
The master calibrator is employed for calibrating the equipment. This master calibrator is certified by the Electronics Regional Testing Laboratory (ERTL West) Government of India, especially for its accuracy. This certification is in reference to the National Physical Laboratories (NPL), U.K.
