The bio-freezer manufactured by us is micro-controller based which provides a perfect ambiance for the contemporary medical and laboratory applications. Our bio-freezers are widely used in laboratories in various biotechnological applications, these days. The primary uses of this bio-freezer include prevention of plasma; preservation of blood components, microorganisms, and cultured plant cells; storage of vaccines and ampoules; conducting of various tests which require low temperature; and many more. This equipment is comprised of a temperature regulator which is micro-controller based, with digital display facility. It also possesses a temperature alarm system, this system has an adaptable alarm with audiovisual alarm facility which functions on temperature deviation.

Construction
The cabinet of the bio-freezers manufactured by us under the brand name LABTOP ® are insulated with premium quality CFC free poly urethane foam, which possesses a high density. The interior part of the chamber of this laboratory equipment is made of stainless steel with a mirror finish and dimension: 304SS, 1.0mm thick; while the exterior part of it is fabricated from white powder coated mild steel (1.0mm thick), and its door is equipped with a magnetic gasket having a door lock. The trays inside the bio-freezer which are meant for storage are also made of stainless steel. The inside cooling is ensured by an imperviously sealed high quality compressor. Skylab also manufactures GMP models which are completely made of stainless steel.

Printer Interface : Providing advantageous printing facilities like storing the print records on the printer with process values, set values, date and time with flexible print time interval. Moreover, provision for online and offline printable data storage facility which is appropriate for 80 col. dot matrix printer.

PC Inter face and data management : PC interface communication makes it possible to control the chamber through remote monitoring and data logging. This category also provides a web-based software which, in turn, provide tabular as well as graphical reports.

CALIBRATION
The use of master calibrator is made for calibrating the equipment. The master calibrator is certified for its preciseness by the Government of India's Electronics Regional Testing Laboratory with reference to the UK's National Measurement Institute, i.e., National Physical Laboratory (NPL).
