Blood analysis and testing equipments are used for analyzing the different components of blood. They are used to maintain the quality of blood components and separate various components too. Here are listed some of the equipments which are used for blood testing and analysis.

Types of Blood Testing & Analysis Equipment

Platelet Agitator          send query for this product
Platelet Agitator Platelet agitators maintain donor platelets in an even suspension throughout the blood plasma. Platelet agitators are used for storing platelets at a specified temperature range usually between 20°C-24°C. Blood platelets must be kept agitated in order to retain their adhesive properties and viability. Platelet agitators are of two types: Flatbed type of agitator and Rotary type of agitator. In flatbed type agitators the agitation achieved is better than in rotary types of agitators. Platelet agitators are found as a free standing unit in an air conditioned room and they can be fitted inside an incubator too, which achieves the desired temperature.

Platelet agitators are needed in blood banks and hospitals to ensure proper storage of platelets before transfusion. The main function of a platelet agitator is to store platelet concentrates in continuous motion at a specified temperature. It is a chamber like structure made of double wall. The exterior one is made of mild steel while the inner portion is made from imported medical grade stainless steel.

Platelet agitators are of differing sizes and designs. They are required to be robust and emit low noise because continuous agitation is needed. They do no damage to blood cells. They can be accommodated in platelet incubators.

Plasma Expressor          send query for this product
Plasma Expressor Plasma expressor is an electromechanical device used in hospital blood banks and research laboratories for automatic separation of plasma from whole blood. The conventional separators use a simple mechanical process that requires the operator to monitor the process continuously. When separation has completed the tubing is closed precisely. While in plasma expressors, an optical sensor is used to signal the electronic clamp to close when the first red cells are detected.

Plasma Thawing Bath          send query for this product
Plasma Thawing Bath Plasma thawing baths are used in hospital blood banks and clinical & research laboratories. Plasma thawing baths are used to thaw frozen plasma with the minimum user intervention. A high capacity circulation system and a high quality temperature controller are the main components of any plasma thawing bath. Plasma packets are held in plastic pockets that are clipped into the bath. The packs are quickly defrosted or brought to 37°C.

Cryoprecipitate Bath          send query for this product
Cryoprecipitate Bath Cryoprecipitate baths are essential for all blood banks and transfusion centers. They are used for safe and reliable plasma thawing. Cryoprecipitate baths have a crucial role in transfusion. Now-a-days cryoprecipitate baths are available with different accessories to suit different lab procedures & settings. They have microprocessor based temperature control units. They have audio-visual alarms, which start beeping if temperature deviates from its preset value. They consist of smooth acrylic tray for accommodating plasma bags. Cryoprecipitate baths are also known as cryo bath.
